In order to choose your new Pessoa saddle correctly, we first advise you to choose the size of the seat, then the size of the flap and finally the type of knee rolls. The width of the tree can be modified freely with the new X-Change® system.
A PESSOA saddle adjusts perfectly to the back of the horse and to the built of the rider. It allows an unbelievable contact between both of them, becoming One!. This is due to the correct anatomical design of the tree which is perfect both for the horse and for the rider.
Flexible carbon fibre saddle tree
All the PESSOA and ANKY saddle trees are moulded with polymers specially designed by Dupont® for this purpose. Seat size
The seat is measured up in a straight line from the saddle nail up to the cantle in its middle part. The measurement is determined by the physical built of the rider and the horse. As a general norm the measurements lower than 17 " are for young riders. On the other hand the 17 " and 17.5" saddles are for adult riders. And finally the 18" are for big built riders.
The entire Pessoa line range is presented with the new interchangeable headplates X-Change® system. This system grants a technical incomparable versatility. The rider can modify the width of the tree using 5 steel interchangeable headplates, with only a screwdriver, in a very simple and easy way!
This is achieved in 6 steps and disarranging only 4 screws. Headplates are codified in various colours for its rapid differentiation. The tree can perfectly adapt itself to the withers and back of any horse. The tree size can be changed from Narrow up to Extra-wide.
X-Change 2 System
All the ANKY and Baloubet Pro saddles come with
the X-Change 2® system. The difference is that
the saddle should be unassembled by a saddler, to accede to the system. The change of the headplates may be carried out by disarranging only 2 screws.
